Peel the asparagus.2
Cook the asparagus in salted water with 2 tablespoons of butter for about 8 minutes, until tender.3
Set half of the asparagus aside for serving.4
Blend the remaining asparagus, reserving the cooking liquid.5
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a pot and add the flour.6
Pour in the asparagus cooking liquid and cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens slightly.7
